Entry Security Screening Associate

Role Expectations

Will primarily function as a customer-facing screening presence. Will greet and welcome guests to the hospital and direct individuals through weapons screening procedures, permitting entry once screening is complete. Screening is completed through metal detector and wand screening. Will escalate/request assistance from Security Officer II personnel when needed, as they are equipped and authorized to respond to security incidents. Must have a firm but friendly demeanor and be comfortable encountering a potential weapon. A security or law enforcement background is not required, but candidates must be comfortable in this environment and supporting this function of the hospital's operations.
