Responsibilities
- Civil/Site development including grading design; roadway design; storm water management systems design; sanitary sewer design, water design, and erosion and sediment control design
- Work with a Professional Engineer in preparing all associated drawing packages, deliverables, calculations, reports, and spreadsheets
- Work on design teams in collaboration with other disciplines to achieve project goals and deadlines
- Work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, ranging from general civil engineering duties to technical work requiring strong communication and capabilities in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and BlueBeam
- Learn and become proficient in Dewberry engineering practices and standards and conduct quality reviews of assigned tasks
Requirements
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- Eligible to obtain the EIT license within 6 months
- 0-2 years of design experience related to site development projects
- Able to work on teams on different tasks and meet project deadlines
- Communicate effectively and compose technical reports, permit documents, memorandums, and other written communication such as email
