Entry Level Sign Production Specialist

About the Role

A full-time Sign Production Specialist will work in a dynamic environment producing high-quality signage and graphics. This role involves following layouts to apply computer-cut vinyl and full-color graphics, preparing substrates, and ensuring quality throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrates or media.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images using techniques appropriate for size, type, and complexity.
• Operate and maintain printers.
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by interpreting Work Orders and proofing for errors.
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and stock needs to the center or production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods (4+ hours).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use repetitive hand motions for vinyl application.
• Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
• Experience using light power equipment.

Pay

$12.00 - $15.00 per hour.
