Essential Functions
- Perform roadway engineering design tasks for transportation projects from preliminary to final design.
- Provide engineering design services for traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build transportation projects.
- Utilize CAD software to prepare detailed engineering drawings and plans for roadway projects.
- Affix construction documents, including specifications and cost estimates, to facilitate the implementation of roadway projects.
- Work with senior engineers and other team members to ensure effective communication, coordination, and progress of roadway projects.
- Stay updated on relevant transportation engineering codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 1+ years of roadway design experience.
- Experience working with Municipal or State DOTs.
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT Certification.
- MicroStation, GEOPAK or OpenRoads software experience.

- Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Ability to react quickly and calmly to high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and/or collaboratively in team settings.
- Ability to meet all safety requirements if/when visiting a project site.

Pay
Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000/year based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.
