We are seeking a motivated Engineer with strong technical aptitude and a desire to grow into Project Management within the construction and industrial manufacturing industry. This role serves as a bridge between engineering, project execution, customers, and field operations, providing opportunities to lead projects from concept through completion.

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting engineering drawings, coordinating technical and construction-related activities, managing project budgets, and building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of construction and industrial projects.
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, field installation, and customer teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Participate in project meetings and communicate status updates to key stakeholders.
  • Review change orders, submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand project requirements and provide exceptional service throughout project execution.
  • Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain project timelines and budgets.
  • Support site visits, field coordination, and construction activities as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 2+ years of engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project coordination experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Understanding of project budgeting, cost control, and financial concepts.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project documentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting construction, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to project management principles, scheduling, and project controls.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar design software.
  • Experience reviewing contracts, change orders, and construction documentation.
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems, structural systems, or industrial equipment.
  • EIT certification or interest in pursuing professional development in project management.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Edwardsville, KS.
