About the role
IBM Infrastructure & Technology designs and operates systems including high-resiliency mainframes, hybrid cloud platforms, networking, automation, and site reliability. The team ensures performance, security, and scalability for clients worldwide. This role involves tackling complex challenges with curiosity and collaboration, working with diverse technologies and colleagues globally to deliver resilient, future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the broader IBM product organization to help support the portfolio and the business
- Become an expert in IBM's product management methodologies, design thinking, and new product introduction
- Support product teams in defining product requirements, user stories, and specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, and sales) to ensure timely product delivery
- Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to identify new product opportunities
- Navigate customer outcomes, business impacts, and functional trade-offs
- Collaborate well with others across multiple project areas
- Assist with projects spanning the IBM Z and LinuxONE portfolio
- Help curate insights from interviews with existing and potential customers that flow into the Idea Hub and engage product teams to progress them
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience in Product Management or equivalent practical experience building or deploying products
- Experience implementing Agile practices and Design Thinking
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem-solving and business analysis skills
- Ability to work from the office at least 3 days a week
