Entry Level Operations Trainee

Job Introduction

Graymont’s Indian Creek Plant in Townsend, Montana, is seeking an operations trainee expected to advance to the Tech I position. Successful candidates must possess a strong safety attitude, strong sense of teamwork and cooperation, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a self-directed work environment. This is a 24/7 operation and applicants will work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform all needed preshift examinations on all plant and mobile equipment.
• Load lime trucks & hydrate trucks.
• Wash and clean assigned mobile equipment on a regular basis.
• Daily clean up and housekeeping.
• Assist in kiln activities as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Safety oriented in every aspect of the job.
• Team player, proactive with strong multi-tasking skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with good trouble shooting skills.
• Self-starter with ambition to improve overall plant atmosphere.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
