Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role involves performing engineering calculations for transmission line support systems, assisting in the planning, design, and construction management of transmission line projects, and participating in a career development program. The position offers the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced engineers and contribute to maintaining transmission design standards and information systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficiency in Autocad
• Knowledge of engineering principles
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly
• Ability to work cross-functionally with various teams and external partners

• Interest in supporting grid modernization and the energy transition
• Desire to be part of a utility investing in renewable integration
• Support for PE licensure and professional development

Job Type & Location

• This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $82,000.00 - $87,000.00/yr.
