Entry Level Maintenance Technician

We are hiring an entry-level Maintenance Technician in Newport News, VA for 2nd shift. This opportunity is ideal for transitioning military personnel and new graduates interested in facilities and maintenance.

About the Role

Plans utilization of space and facilities for the company, ensuring efficiency within available facilities and budgets. Directs and manages all phases of equipment and machinery maintenance, facilities modifications, and building projects from design through implementation.

• Ensures project requirements are defined, contracts and changes are negotiated, and operating budgets are established.
• Acts as the primary contact for facilities, equipment, and machinery maintenance, leading project reviews of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Identifies problems and develops solutions, such as resource allocation or project scope adjustments.
• May coordinate the work of employees assigned to the project.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• No prior experience required.

Schedule

2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay

$30.00 – $35.00 per hour, based on experience.
