Entry Level Low Voltage Technician

About the role

Level 1 technician (helper) with little telecom experience. The hiring manager seeks a trainable candidate with prior experience in physically demanding work (e.g., construction, trades, military). Strong work ethic, positive attitude, dependability, and attendance are essential for this data center‑based position.

Responsibilities

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label and port equipment; use a computer to document locations and part numbers
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians

Requirements

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands‑on electrical or military experience is highly valued
• Ability to work on ladders and lifts

The position is a contract role based in Lenoir, NC, with an anticipated closing date of September 30, 2026.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $20.00 per hour.
