Entry Level Landscape Architect

Responsibilities

• Perform zoning code research, site feasibility and due diligence studies.
• Aid in the preparation of rezoning and conditional use plans.
• Prepare site construction plans including site design, grading design and storm drainage design, erosion and sediment control design, landscape plans, and associated details.
• Prepare associated calculations and reports.
• Create renders for presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture is required.
• Previous internship experience is preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office is required.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, GIS/ArcView, and PowerPoint is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

Must have excellent hand drawing skills, but also be familiar with digital technologies/techniques such as Adobe Photoshop. Experience with Rhino and D5 is a plus, but not required.

Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, GIS/ArcView, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
