About the Opportunity

The Entry-Level IT Support Associate is the primary contact for internal IT support, ensuring smooth and efficient technical operations. This role is designed for individuals starting their IT careers, offering an opportunity to develop technical skills while supporting the organization's daily IT needs remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support via ticketing system, email, and chat.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues promptly.
• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of employee workstations and applications.
• Manage user accounts, including creation, modification, and password resets.
• Escalate complex technical issues to senior staff with detailed information.
• Document technical procedures, user guides, and maintain internal knowledge base.
• Support implementation of new technologies and IT projects as needed.

Requirements

• Strong interest in technology and technical problem-solving.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Basic knowledge of computer operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
• Good organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proactive, customer-service-oriented approach.
• Prior IT support experience or certifications like CompTIA A+ are beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $20 to $30 USD per hour.
