Responsibilities

  • Met with prospective and current customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Manage policy renewals and customer follow-ups
  • Maintain detailed customer records
  • Conduct marketing and prospecting efforts (social media, referrals, community engagement, phone outreach)
  • Support customers throughout the claims process
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Participate in training and licensing (if not currently licensed)

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or customer service roles, ideally within the insurance sector or similar industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with diverse customer groups.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple customer accounts and follow-ups.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools for marketing and customer engagement.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and obtain necessary licensing if not already licensed.
  • Agriculture experience is a plus.
