Entry-Level Insurance Sales Agent

About the Role

Headwaters Financial is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent/Sales Representative to help individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. You'll build your own book of business through consultative selling — uncovering client needs, recommending the right coverage, and earning residual income that compounds over time. This is a performance-driven role with uncapped earning potential, ideal for someone who's competitive, relationship-driven, and ready to own their results.

What You'll Do

• Coverage assessments to understand each client's financial protection goals
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and outbound outreach
• Recommend and present the right insurance products
• Guide clients through application, underwriting, and policy issuance
• Maintain long-term relationships through follow-ups and policy reviews

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented
• Able to explain complex products in simple terms
• Organized, with strong follow-up and time management
• Willing to obtain an insurance license (or already licensed)
• Sales experience a plus — full training provided
• Nice to have: background in insurance, financial services, or consultative sales, active insurance license, track record in commission-based or quota-driven roles
