Entry Level HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Service Champions Heating and Air Conditioning is seeking enthusiastic and driven Entry Level Field Service Technicians for their San Jose Service Center. This is an exciting full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Drive Top Performance by performing routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect repair, and conduct maintenance on furnaces, condensers and compressors
• Build client relationships by Giving Remarkable Service with strong communication and customer service skills
• Identify opportunities for clients to improve their home comfort systems
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with Service Champions quality and safety standards and Honor Our Commitments
• Update job knowledge by Being a Life Long Student and participating in educational opportunities

Requirements

• No previous residential HVAC experience is necessary, but helpful
• Must have mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work in hot, cold, wet climates depending on the weather
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs
• Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service while on the job site
• Results driven in a high-energy environment
• Attention to detail
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test, MVR and reference check

Pay

Annualized potential compensation based on individual performance $50,000 - $65,000
