Entry Level Electrical Engineer - Boston, MA

The Opportunity
PAE is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer for a hybrid office environment in our Boston office. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in electrical system design.

About the Role

This role provides hands-on experience in designing and modeling power distribution, lighting, and technology systems under the guidance of experienced project leads. It also offers opportunities to develop technical skills and proficiency in industry-standard software and electrical codes.

What You'll Do

• Develop an understanding of electrical system design, modeling, and documentation
• Gain proficiency using Revit and AutoCAD as design/drafting tools
• Grow in the ability to read plans and provide task-based support for engineering distribution, lighting, power, and technology systems
• Develop an understanding of specifications, building codes, and electrical industry standards
• Perform electrical load calculations and research codes to ensure compliance
• Model distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Arc Flash Energy using Easy Power
• Contribute to other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or ability to obtain
• Internship experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
• Passionate about results
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with Easy Power

What We Offer

• Hiring Base Salary Range: $72,900 - $88,100 annually
• Eligible for time and a half overtime pay
