Responsibilities
- Provide power systems studies for a variety of public and private clients in the industrial, healthcare, higher education, and water/wastewater markets.
- Perform EE analysis such as short circuit studies, Arc Flash studies, etc.
- Meet and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and specialists where required.
- Prepare electrical engineering calculations, code analysis, reports, specifications, project schedules, and cost estimates to meet project requirements.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections of electrical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree from an accredited university.
- EIT preferred.
- Ability to coordinate the work of multiple disciplines.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Well organized, with good understanding of electrical power system software, applicable codes, national standards, and electrical safety.
- Attend client and contractor meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
Qualifications
Passion for power systems studies and electrical safety is a must.
