Entry Level Drafter

Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation of 2D and 3D models, drawings, and layouts using CAD and BIM software.
• Prepare basic construction documents, plans, and details under the supervision of senior designers and engineers.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and make necessary adjustments to drawings.
• Maintain and update project files, ensuring all digital models and drawings are organized and accessible for team members.
• Conduct quality control checks on own work to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards before submission for review.
• Update and revise drawings and models based on feedback from senior team members or project stakeholders.
• Adhere to established CAD/BIM standards and protocols to maintain consistency and quality across all project deliverables.
• Assist senior CAD/BIM designers with basic technical tasks such as file imports, exports, and software troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or certification in Revit, CAD, BIM, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of experience in Revit or CAD/BIM design, coursework, or relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Revit software (AutoCAD a plus).

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of structural principles and design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, or similar BIM software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
