Responsibilities
- Preparing and prosecuting patent applications
- Contributing to prosecution strategy
- Providing technical and legal research and analysis for matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Providing technical support for PTAB and litigation proceedings
Requirements
- Ph.D. in chemistry
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials
- USPTO registration is not required

Pay
Where required by law, salary ranges are provided below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits, flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range is specific to positions in the listed cities/states and may vary based on market data, skills, experience, degrees, licensing, and certifications.
- Palo Alto, CA: $105,000 to $135,000 annual salary
