Entry Level Cable Technician
Job Summary
We are seeking an Entry-Level Cable Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in low-voltage and structured cabling.
Responsibilities
- Pull, route, and install CAT5/CAT6 data cabling.
- Assist with cable termination, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting.
- Install cable trays and support structures.
- Rack and stack network equipment.
- Assist with wireless access point and A/V installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety guidelines and company installation standards.
- Work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Qualifications
- 6 months to 1+ year of cabling, construction, electrical, or related experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of structured cabling and low-voltage systems.
- Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions.
- Must have own basic hand tools (snips, crimpers, screwdriver set, punch-down tool).
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in commercial environments.
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
