We are looking for an Entry Level Assistant Superintendent to run projects across the country.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Demonstrate strong leadership with ability and willingness to face challenges, direct teams, and effectively resolve conflicts
- Attend the post-award review meeting to gather project details and begin preconstruction planning
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Willing to travel throughout the United States
- Participate in the post-award review meeting to gather project details and begin preconstruction planning
- Partner with the project manager to develop the construction schedule, including activity sequencing, manpower, and equipment needs
- Oversee the project to ensure work meets specifications, stays on schedule, and achieves target profitability
- Coverage of medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Coordinate subcontractor activities to ensure effective performance within the project timeline
- Absolutely essential to possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Absolutely essential to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
- Absolutely essential to have 0-2 years of construction experience on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects that are a minimum of 100k square feet
- Absolutely essential to be proficient in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel)
- Absolutely essential to enforce adherence to the company’s safety program in all phases of the project
- Absolutely essential to lead with integrity and a commitment to quality, upholding company values and focusing on exceeding internal and external client expectations
- Absolutely essential to complete daily reports documenting key project details, events, conditions, visitors, client interactions, commitments, and approvals
- Absolutely essential to maintain constant communication with the project manager to keep them informed of job progress, plans, and issues that may impact costs or schedules
Necessary Qualifications
- 0-2 years of construction experience on warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and/or cold storage projects that are a minimum of 100k square feet
- Willing to travel throughout the United States
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Excel)
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to: standing or walking for long periods of time, occasionally on uneven terrain, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing stairs, and/or lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds
