Entry Level Assembler (1st Shift) - Lincoln, IL

About the role

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking an Entry Level Assembler (1st Shift) at a rate of $19.80/hr, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. The position is "On-Site" and the working hours are 3:30PM - Midnight.

Responsibilities

• Set up, assembly, and repairing when necessary
• Perform quality and SPC checks where necessary to produce good quality devices
• Share in handling all materials used in the cell and the movement of finished devices to designated areas
• Adhere to and support all facility environmental guidelines and procedures to identify additional pollution prevention projects to reduce waste and raw material consumption

Requirements

• Must stand up to 8 hours a day
• Requires hand speed and mental agility
• Strong Work Ethic
• Attention to detail (accuracy)
• Consistent overtime
• Proficient using hand/power tools

Qualifications

The minimum education required is a High School/GED from an accredited association. Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred. Candidates must reside within the immediate Lincoln, IL area (70 miles), although Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from this geographical limitation.
