Assembler - 1st shift Franklin, WI
About the role
S&C Electric Company is seeking Assemblers to join our team. As an Assembler, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team that keeps the lights on around the world.
Responsibilities
- Assembling IntelliRupters at one of several stations, in sizes approximately 9' x 4' x 4'.
- Identifying, transporting, installing, mounting and bolting all switch components (ranging from 5 lbs. to over 50 lbs. without equipment assistance).
- Performing mechanical inspection using torque wrenches, screwdriver and tape measure.
- Using simple material handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, simple gauges and instruments, and overhead cranes, if required.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly operations.
- Ability to use basic shop math and measuring tools such as tape measures.
- Ability to use air impact tools and other hand-held tools.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and procedures and read assembly prints.
- Mechanical assembly experience preferred.

Pay
The estimated hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual short-term incentive bonus, subject to eligibility criteria.
Schedule
1 St Shift: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime on Fridays when necessary.
