Entra ID Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Information Security professional with deep expertise in identity and access management (IAM) to lead our Identity-centric Workforce Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing authentication and access management solutions, with a focus on modern security protocols, Zero Trust principles, and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Identity-centric Workforce Security team to develop authentication and access management solutions.
• Drive the development of identity solutions, access patterns, and modern security protocols, practicing Zero Trust, least privilege, and defense-in-depth principles.
• Apply deep understanding of AI concepts and their impact on identity and access management, including Entra ID agentic identity, authentication flows, and patterns.
• Participate in AI adoption initiatives with a focus on identity and access management.
• Review and provide feedback on IAM-related security solutions proposed by stakeholders, offering consultation to partners and IT management.
• Design and implement security solutions for Java-based microservices, React-based frontends, and Android/iOS mobile applications on Azure.
• Provide expertise in JWT, session handling, code signing, certificate authentication, TLS/SSL, API security, application registration, and integration scenarios.
• Ensure secure identity management using Azure AD with OAuth, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA, conditional access policies, Kerberos, LDAP, and identity federations.
• Apply knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) to remediate toxic combinations and high-risk entitlements.
• Utilize threat modeling concepts and methodologies to enhance security posture.
• Implement OWASP standards, security best practices, and browser compatibility considerations.
• Act as a workforce cybersecurity expert for solutions spanning end-user computing, proxy solutions, MFA, SSO, conditional access, passwordless authentication, YubiKey, biometric solutions, identity governance, secrets management, automation, RBAC, privileged identity management, and just-in-time access.
• Support solutions for token handling, OIDC/OAuth flows, authorization patterns, identity federation, cloud architectures, cryptography, and cloud-native services.
• Demonstrate deep understanding of cloud security areas, including policies, RBAC, activities, identities, and privileged access management.
• Troubleshoot complex identity scenarios with hands-on experience in Sentinel, KQL, and audit logs.
• Apply knowledge of Docker security, container orchestration, and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Ten years of experience in an Information Security role.
• Five years of experience as a Technical Lead.
• Experience in information security or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Deep knowledge of application or infrastructure systems architecture, with experience across multiple system technologies.
• Strong consultative and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, partners, IT management, and staff.
• Strong collaboration skills and analytical ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with Entra ID, EPM, Sentinel, Azure, and AWS Security.
• Knowledge of Okta, PingFederate, and entitlement management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with API Management, firewalls, DLP, VPNs, DNS, Azure Defender, MCAS, WAFs, Application Gateways, NSGs, App Proxy, Radius clusters, and CDN.

Skills

• CISSP, CSSP, or Cloud Security certification (preferred).
• Certifications in Azure or AWS security (preferred).

Pay

Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000 a year
