About the role

The Niles Foundation is a 501c3 mobilizing access to land, food, clean energy, education, training, leadership, and environmental change to meet the everyday basic needs of our communities. We create long-term solutions empowering results for BIPOC, low-income, historically disadvantaged, and underserved communities. This role supports the Halo Food Project, a community initiative focused on food access, outreach, and neighborhood engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist mobile market community members by phone, email, and in person
• Support event registrations and participant follow-up
• Answer questions regarding programs, services, and events
• Assist with volunteer communications and scheduling
• Support mobile market and community outreach activities
• Support mobile market inventory, deliveries, and stocking
• Maintain organized records and participant information

Requirements

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Comfortable working with diverse community members
• Basic computer and administrative skills
• Passion for community service preferred
