Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Transformation PMO Lead to establish, operationalize, and lead a new enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) supporting multiple strategic business transformation initiatives within a complex asset-intensive organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish, operationalize, and lead an enterprise PMO, including governance, operating model, methodologies, standards, tools, reporting, KPIs, and delivery processes.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and execution discipline.
  • Provide executive leadership across multiple enterprise transformation programs, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop enterprise portfolio governance including executive steering committees, project intake, prioritization, stage gates, decision rights, and operating rhythms.
  • Lead enterprise process engineering and business process optimization initiatives that improve operational efficiency, governance, scalability, customer experience, and enterprise performance.
  • Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives spanning Order-to-Cash (O2C), ERP implementation, finance, operations, customer service, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, asset management, and supporting business functions.
  • Develop and execute enterprise organizational change strategies including executive communications, stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, training, user adoption, and change reinforcement.
  • Establish executive dashboards, portfolio KPIs, financial reporting, and transformation health metrics.
  • Monitor budgets, schedules, scope, dependencies, enterprise risks, issues, and resource utilization while driving proactive mitigation.
  • Prepare executive presentations, Board materials, Steering Committee updates, and strategic communications.
  • Institutionalize PMO governance, methodologies, templates, standards, and best practices to create a sustainable enterprise capability.
  • Develop and execute a structured transition plan, including documentation, knowledge transfer, coaching, and operational readiness to enable the client organization to independently own and operate the PMO.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive Program Management, Portfolio Management, and/or PMO leadership experience leading complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Proven success establishing and operationalizing enterprise PMOs from the ground up.
  • Demonstrated leadership of enterprise-wide transformation programs involving multiple business units, executive stakeholders, and technology initiatives.
  • Experience within an Integration Management Office (IMO), mergers and acquisitions, enterprise integrations, or other strategic transformation environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives within Oil & Gas, Energy Services, or Oilfield Equipment Manufacturing organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Deep expertise in process engineering, operational excellence, business process optimization, and enterprise transformation.
  • Proven Organizational Change Management leadership including executive communications, stakeholder engagement, organizational readiness, training, and user adoption.
  • Exceptional executive presence, executive function, business acumen, facilitation, communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly visible, fast-paced environment characterized by ambiguity, competing priorities, aggressive timelines, and multiple concurrent strategic initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planview, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Experience operating within SOX-compliant or regulated environments preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree (MBA or related discipline) preferred.
  • PMP certification strongly preferred.
  • Prosci Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or related professional certifications are highly desirable.
