Enterprise Transformation PMO Lead
About the role
The role involves establishing and leading an enterprise Project Management Office (PMO) to support large-scale transformation initiatives. Key responsibilities include shaping governance models, executing execution frameworks, and driving organizational improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, MBA, or related advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in program management, portfolio management, or PMO leadership roles overseeing complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience building and operationalizing enterprise PMOs from the ground up.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation programs involving multiple business units, executive stakeholders, and technology-enabled initiatives.
- Experience with Integration Management Offices (IMO), mergers and acquisitions, enterprise integrations, or similar strategic transformation environments is strongly preferred.
- Strong expertise in business process optimization, operational excellence, process engineering, and enterprise transformation.
- Proven organizational change management experience, including executive communications, stakeholder alignment, readiness planning, training, and user adoption.
- Exceptional executive presence with strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Able to operate effectively in highly visible environments with ambiguity, competing priorities, aggressive timelines, and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience working within regulated or SOX-compliant environments is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with project and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planview, Monday.com, or similar tools.
- PMP certification strongly preferred.
- Professional certifications in Prosci Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, Scrum, or related disciplines are highly desirable.
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives within asset-intensive industries such as energy services, oil and gas, or industrial manufacturing is strongly preferred.
