Enterprise Technology Executive

About the Role

We are conducting an exclusive search for a growing organization creating a new executive technology leadership position. The company is prepared to move quickly for the right candidate. Local Baton Rouge candidates only. This position is not remote, and relocation assistance is not available. This leader will inherit an established IT Director and a team of approximately nine professionals while strengthening governance, accountability, and execution across the technology function. Major initiatives are underway, including new ERP and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create an enterprise technology roadmap aligned with business growth
• Oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, enterprise applications, telecommunications, data governance, user support, and project delivery
• Drive ERP, HRIS, systems integration, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
• Establish stronger IT governance, change management, service standards, and performance accountability
• Manage cybersecurity risk, incident readiness, disaster recovery, and business continuity
• Advise executive leadership on technology investments, acquisitions, integrations, and strategy
• Lead budgeting, vendor relationships, contracts, licensing, and technology ROI
• Develop a high-performing, service-oriented IT organization

Requirements

• Enterprise leadership experience across the full IT landscape, not a narrow technology specialty
• Senior-level responsibility for multiple IT disciplines, business units, or locations
• Success overseeing major business systems implementations and organizational change
• Strong expertise in IT governance, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and infrastructure
• Stable career history with clear progression into broader leadership roles
• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred

Qualifications

Experience in construction, power, utilities, energy, industrial services, or engineering is especially valuable, although other industries will be considered.
