About the role

Barr is seeking an enterprise systems manager to join our Minneapolis, Minnesota, team. This hybrid role involves leading the strategy, administration, optimization, and support of enterprise business systems across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise systems management and optimization: manage the administration, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.
  • Team leadership and development: lead and support a team of analysts, administrators, or application support staff responsible for enterprise platforms.
  • Business partnership and solution delivery: collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and implement scalable system solutions.
  • System lifecycle and governance: oversee system configuration, upgrades, patches, and testing while maintaining strong governance, documentation, and technical standards.
  • Data integrity, security, and compliance: partner with business owners and data owners to ensure appropriate access controls, data governance, audit readiness, and compliance across enterprise systems.
  • Integrations and performance: coordinate integrations across applications and monitor system performance, troubleshooting issues and driving resolution of incidents.
  • Vendor and project management: manage vendor relationships and lead project planning, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for system initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience supporting or managing enterprise systems, 3+ years of experience leading teams, hands-on work with ERP, HCM, CRM, finance, or other enterprise application ecosystems, strong understanding of system lifecycle management, integrations, security roles, and data governance, proven experience leading cross-functional projects, implementations, or system enhancements, experience with SQL Server.
  • Software: experience with SQL Server.
  • Communication: strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project team members, regulators, and clients.
