Job Description

The Enterprise Application Services section at JPL seeks an Enterprise Systems Analyst to join their People IT Services team. In this role, we're looking for a candidate who possesses the required Workday experience in HR and other modules in the areas of configuration, reporting, security administration, and integration to ensure the continued reliability, accuracy, and compliance of the Workday platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and support the Workday system, which includes Core HCM, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, and Compensation.
  • Configure, implement, and maintain system changes, including business process design, to achieve optimized functionality and streamlined processes.
  • Ensure data accuracy and quality through monitoring, audits, and exception reporting.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather priorities and requirements, configure business processes, achieve goals and address gaps.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Workday and related HR and functionalities.
  • Configure and maintain payroll settings, including earnings, deductions, tax setups, and GL mapping.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines with at least 2 years of experience or Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines with at least 1 year of related experience.
  • Working experience with Workday Core HCM, Benefits, Talent, Recruiting, and Compensation.
  • Working experience with Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, configurations, and security administration.
  • Ability to build Workday custom reports, calculated fields, and dashboards.
  • Candidate must be a U.S. person.

Desired Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and experience with Workday Payroll and Absence.
  • Familiarity with HR, Payroll, and Compliance reporting standards in non-profit and government organizations.
  • Familiarity with UKG Workforce Management.
  • Familiarity with Oracle eBusiness Suite.
  • Familiarity with SQL.
