Enterprise Storage Administrator Sr Principal

Responsibilities
- Perform systems administration for enterprise storage solution.
- Install, configure, and maintain Everpure operating systems.
- Analyze and resolve problems associated with the operating system’s servers, hardware, applications, and software.
- Maintain and monitor all patch releases, design various patch installation strategies, and administer all systems according to program standards.
- Provides Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support, interface with the end users and other technical teams from a service support perspective.
- Maintain and advise on the Everpure Storage environment, including ONTAP, LUNS, NFS, and object stores.
Requirements
- BS degree; may be substituted for additional years of experience
- 8+ years of IT/DoW configuration management experience
- Security Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
- Required Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation certified within 9 months of start; Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+, GSEC or CySA+
Qualifications
- Strong experience administering Everpure or equivalent enterprise storage platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with ONTAP, LUNs, NFS, and storage protocols.
- Proficiency installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux-based operating systems; familiarity with Windows Server environments is a plus.
- Experience managing VMware or other virtualization technologies, including VM deployment and resource management.
- Knowledge of patch management, system hardening, and security compliance processes.
- Familiarity with backup and replication technologies such as snapshots, SnapMirror, or other enterprise backup tools.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, iSCSI, VLANs, NFS).
- Shell scripting or automation experience (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause analysis.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience supporting ITIL-based service management environments and using enterprise ticketing systems.

Pay
The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
