What You’ll Do
- Possess a proven track record of closing deals in the mid-market or enterprise space.
- Develop and maintain specific relationship maps for your territory, including both existing and aspirational contacts.
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer's business and industry.
- Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with SLED enterprises by emphasizing value and return on investment.
- Manage and exceed existing customer expectations while expanding your reach and depth in your assigned territory.
- Showcase resourcefulness in addressing challenges that require creative solutions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in identifying key value drivers for all opportunities.
- Achieve high levels of forecasting accuracy and consistency.
Who You Are
- Have 3+ years of experience in closing deals within mid-market or enterprise environments.
- Successfully met or exceeded sales goals of $800k+ and had an average deal size of $50k+.
- Proven ability to develop and execute a sales pipeline independently.
- Experience selling into state, local, and education organizations.
- Worked for an innovative tech company, preferably in SaaS, IT infrastructure, or a similar field.
About the Role
The SLED Sales Executive will prospect into State, Local, and Education organizations while maintaining an efficient sales process. They will negotiate favorable pricing and business terms, manage customer expectations, and expand their reach and depth in the assigned territory. This role involves regular travel to client sites, using various modes of transportation as needed.
