About the role

Merge Medical Imaging Solutions, offered by Merative, are designed to enhance healthcare organizations' confidence in patient outcomes and streamline care delivery. This role involves managing the successful implementation of these solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage knowledge transfer between Sales, Implementation, and Support teams.
  • Report project status effectively to Professional Services Executives or designated managers.
  • Act as the customer advocate, focusing on clinical needs in development, logistics, and service processes.
  • Proactively address and resolve complex project issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date project data for internal reporting and forecasting.
  • Drive and manage to revenue targets across assigned projects.
  • Create detailed project financial plans and manage budgets to meet financial commitments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.

Core Competencies

  • Clinical and Domain Expertise: Strong knowledge of relevant clinical service lines, PACS implementations, clinical workflows, and business drivers in medical imaging environments.
  • Communication and Executive Presence: Effective presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate business impacts to executive stakeholders.
  • Meeting Leadership: Planning and facilitating multi-disciplinary meetings and workgroups in complex, multi-site environments.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Navigating organizational structures, aligning with client strategic visions, and balancing customer advocacy with business needs.
  • Strategic Partnership and Influence: Engaging clients and stakeholders as strategic partners, championing solutions, and driving shared commitment to outcomes.
  • Financial Acumen: Creating detailed project financial plans, forecasting work and revenue, managing budgets, and reporting accurately against financial targets.
  • Professional Presence: Exhibiting a credible professional presence in high-stakes client and executive settings.
  • Change Management: Understanding and applying business project management and change management principles, especially for clinically-related enterprise implementations.
  • Partner Management: Working effectively with third-party vendors, balancing shared responsibilities, and focusing on project objectives.
  • Pre-Sales Collaboration: Partnering with sales teams to understand customer needs and participating in pre-sales activities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum BA, BS, BSc, or MBA degree, or comparable job experience in medical imaging or healthcare IT systems. Master's degree a plus.
  • PMP Certification: PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Experience: 8+ years of project management experience with oversight for large-scale or multiple time-sensitive enterprise implementations.
  • Implementation Experience: Proven experience managing enterprise-wide solutions across multiple locations and complex organizational environments.
  • PACS Experience: Experience implementing PACS solutions for radiology and/or cardiology is strongly preferred.
  • Project Management: Oversight of multiple concurrent 6-18 month projects; oversight of projects greater than $1M in value, with direct accountability for revenue forecasting and financial performance.
  • Project Exposure: Experience running high-visibility projects both internally and externally, spanning multiple clinical departments with engagement across IT and executive stakeholders.
