About the Company
Blacksmith builds infrastructure to run CI workloads at scale. Our first product accelerates GitHub Actions by operating a global fleet of bare-metal machines, avoiding generic cloud VMs. Today, we orchestrate tens of millions of Firecracker VMs weekly for 5,000+ companies, achieving ~$50M ARR in 2.5 years with 5x revenue growth since early 2026. Our infrastructure spans thousands of bare-metal machines across multiple regions, scheduling 100k+ vCPUs concurrently and managing a petabyte-scale Ceph cluster.
Backed by $58.5M from Seed to Series B (led by Google Ventures and Peak XV Capital), we’re a small, exceptional team founded by engineers with deep systems and scaling experience from Faire, Cockroach Labs, and other high-scale environments. Our GTM is led by Jon Boyer, former Head of Sales at Zapier. We’re expanding our CI infrastructure into a broader platform, including agent sandboxes and a background coding agent.
