Position Specific Responsibilities And Expectations
- Manage day-to-day administration of Salesforce, including user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, security settings, page layouts, record types, flows, reports, dashboards, and data management.
- Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, flows, approval processes, and automation.
- Monitor system performance, data quality, and user adoption.
- Support Salesforce releases, testing, and implementation of new features.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce-related issues and provide timely resolution to users.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Maintain documentation for Salesforce configuration, processes, user guides, and best practices.
- Serve as the primary SME for a variety of business applications beyond Salesforce.
- Develop a deep understanding of each supported application from both a technical and end-user perspective.
- Manage application configuration, user access, permissions, workflows, settings, and ongoing maintenance.
- Act as the first point of contact for application-related questions, enhancements, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination.
- Evaluate current application usage and recommend process improvements, system enhancements, and opportunities for automation.
- Ensure applications are being used effectively and consistently across teams.
- Support implementation, rollout, and adoption of new applications or application features.
Technical SME Responsibilities
- Understand how supported systems interact with each other, including integrations, data flows, dependencies, and business processes.
- Troubleshoot technical issues across applications and coordinate with internal IT, vendors, or development teams as needed.
- Maintain system configuration documentation, integration notes, data dictionaries, and process maps.
- Identify risks, system gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Support testing efforts for system changes, enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.
- Help define application governance standards, change management processes, and best practices.
User SME & Business Support
- Serve as a trusted resource for end users, providing guidance, training, and support across Salesforce and other applications.
- Understand user workflows and business processes to ensure applications support operational needs.
- Create and maintain training materials, knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user documentation.
- Lead user training sessions for new features, new applications, and process changes.
- Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to identify system improvements.
- Promote application adoption and ensure teams understand how to use tools effectively.

Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar CRM/application administration role.
- Hands-on experience configuring variety of software applications, including users, permissions, objects, fields, flows, reports, dashboards, and automation.
- Experience supporting multiple business applications or SaaS platforms.
- Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into system solutions.
- Ability to serve as both a technical resource and a functional subject matter expert.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
- Experience creating documentation, training materials, and process guides.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple applications, priorities, and stakeholder requests.
