Platform Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Platform Administrator to support the administration, optimization, and governance of enterprise application platforms. This individual will be responsible for the operational health, performance, security, and governance of these platforms. The role involves ensuring platform stability, scalability, and performance while partnering with technical and business teams to drive adoption and value across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operational health, performance, security, and governance of Application Platforms, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform.
• Manage platform environments, tenant configurations, capacity planning, optimization, and monitoring to ensure reliable service delivery.
• Work closely with platform owners, application teams, data engineering, security, quality, and FinOps to ensure reliable and cost-effective service.
• Partner with business units to help drive adoption and support platform strategy.
• Support platform governance initiatives, standards, policies, and best practices across multiple teams.
• Troubleshoot platform-related issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.
• Build lower to mid-level complexity solutions, dashboards, and reports to support operational objectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on platform effectiveness and scalability.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience administering Application Platforms, such as Microsoft Power Platform, in an enterprise environment.
• Experience in platform administration, not solely development on the platform.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with business units and work across teams to drive adoption.
• Strong understanding of Application and Platform licensing, environment strategies, architecture (datasets, workspaces, refresh, gateways), capacity metrics, and performance tuning concepts.
• Familiarity with FinOps practices for SaaS and capacity-based services, as well as data governance and information protection policies.
• Experience supporting governed, multi-team platforms at scale.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting low-code/no-code platforms.
• Exposure to FinOps, IT Financial Management, or cost governance practices.
• Experience with enterprise reporting, dashboards, or platform monitoring solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platform administration and governance.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

The role is based in Omaha, Nebraska and is currently an onsite position.
