Responsibilities
- Develop new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Meet with prospective customers to understand their business objectives, identify technology challenges, and present solutions that deliver measurable ROI.
- Present and demonstrate Kidwell's physical security, access control, video surveillance, structured cabling, healthcare technology, and audio/visual solutions.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by serving as a trusted technology advisor.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying opportunities for additional services and future projects.
- Collaborate with Kidwell's engineering, estimating, and operations teams to develop customized solutions and competitive proposals.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM tools and consistently achieve activity and revenue goals.
- Build strategic relationships with manufacturer partners and stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Represent Kidwell professionally at customer meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of business-to-business sales experience (technology, construction, security, or related industry preferred).
- Bachelor's degree or Associate degree preferred; equivalent sales or industry experience will be considered.
- A genuine interest in technology and a desire to continuously learn new products and solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented with a proven ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and developing a structured sales pipeline.
- Willingness to travel throughout Nebraska with occasional overnight travel.
