About the role

As a Senior Manager in Program & Project Management, you will act as a key leader, partnering with Wireline sales teams to drive customer retention and maximize revenue realization. You will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), overseeing the full order lifecycle—from pre-sales activities and complex migrations to post-sales order escalations—while streamlining processes to accelerate velocity and minimize friction.

Responsibilities

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Order Management, Service Management, and Billing, to drive revenue realization across supported Wireline segments.
  • System & Process Excellence: Leverage deep expertise in Wireline products and systems—including Flow 360, VE-CRM, GCH, Contract Navigator, SFDC, ProQuest, and GCT—to drive process development, migration support, and Lifecycle Credit management.
  • Operational Oversight: Create and manage complex dashboards to track KPIs.
  • Capacity Building: Provide strategic system and process training, collect operational performance feedback, and partner with internal stakeholders to proactively remove obstacles and optimize workflows.
  • Executive & Customer Engagement: Manage high-priority escalations and program readouts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or ten or more years of work experience.
  • Five or more years of relevant work experience working in Enterprise Technology managing large programs or projects.
  • Experience in a Verizon Business Group (VBG) sales support, order management, or project management role.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively and multi-task with highly detailed and complex information.
  • Ability to interact effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with VBG Enterprise tools and systems (Flow 360, VE-CRM, ProQuest, GCT, SFDC, etc.).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • PMP Certification
  • Technology Certification
  • Experience working with outsource and strategic partners
  • Hands-on experience migrating legacy technology to current technology
  • Ability to pick up new concepts and technology rapidly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (G Suite), Excel, and PowerPoint

Schedule

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position based on a full-time schedule is $98,500.00 - $188,000.00. This is an incentive-based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, compensation will be adjusted to reflect hours worked.
