What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing Learning & Development team that consistently delivers impactful learning solutions across the enterprise.
  • Design and implement scalable learning operations, processes, and systems that improve efficiency, consistency, and learner experience.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to align learning priorities and investments with strategic business objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating program effectiveness, measuring outcomes, and using data to inform decisions and resource allocation.
  • Champion innovative learning solutions and enterprise-wide initiatives that enhance organizational capability and support change efforts.
  • Build a culture of learning agility by creating development pathways, services, and experiences that empower employees to grow and succeed.
  • Coach managers and team members while fostering accountability, collaboration, and long-term talent development.

Experience

Required: At least 5 years of experience in one or a combination of the following disciplines: Enterprise learning & development, Organization structure & organizational development, Learning design and technology, Operational management. At least 3 years of management/supervisory experience.

Preferred: Experience managing managers.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Ability to proactively solve problems using root cause analysis and from a frame of reference that recognizes nonlinear dynamic complexities
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from empirical data; ability to apply mathematics, algebraic and statistical computations to solve business problems
  • Demonstrated experience developing, analyzing and improving processes
  • Demonstrated customer relationship management & business partnering skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority
  • Intermediate Excel skills & basic Access database skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of learning & development measurement methodologies, theories & frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Demonstrated self-awareness, commitment to personal development, learning agility and reflective capacity
  • Ability to represent the credit union in a professional manner, verbally and in writing
  • Basic understanding of the concept of productive capacity and its utilization
  • Working knowledge of employment law/regulation (including but not limited to FLSA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, ADEA, GINA, ERISA, etc.)

Education

Required: Bachelor's degree

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm. Travel on occasion.

Compensation & Benefits

The expected pay range for this position is $125,429 – $141,689 annually. Final compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic work location. This role may also be eligible for a bonus opportunity up to 10%.
