Enterprise Deployment Associate | Americas

Planhat · Los Angeles, California, United States · 6 days ago
On-siteOTHR$50k–$60k/yrFull-time

About the role

Planhat's Enterprise Deployment Strategy group works with publicly traded technology companies running their entire post-sale organization on our platform, including Workday, Nasdaq, Akamai, and Dropbox. A single account can involve a CCO, a VP of Customer Success, a RevOps leader, and a data engineering team. This supporting role sits at the center of the team, helping it scale effectively.

Your primary responsibility is supporting the Director in building the structure that makes our Deployment Strategists effective: planning frameworks, renewal standards, portfolio reporting, account intelligence, and other needs as the group grows. You will also support Deployment Strategists on key accounts, improving both the structure and the accounts without owning either outright.

Experience matters less than drive, ambition, judgment, how fast you learn, and cultural fit. Most successful candidates are recent graduates with a record of high performance or have 1–2 years in a startup, consultancy, or fast-growth SaaS environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Director in building and refining operational frameworks, renewal standards, and portfolio reporting.
  • Turn portfolio data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Assist Deployment Strategists by preparing renewal materials, updating account plans, and compiling EBR/QBR content for C-level audiences.
  • Track commitments to closure and ensure Deployment Strategists are prepared for customer interactions.
  • Develop fluency in Planhat by working in live customer environments and shadowing team members.
  • Progressively take on more account-facing responsibilities, with the goal of transitioning into a full Enterprise Deployment Strategist role.

Requirements

  • Structured thinker: Break down ambiguous situations and provide recommendations, not just questions.
  • Comfortable with data: Work confidently with CRM data models, field mappings, and large spreadsheets; identify inaccuracies in customer data.
  • Disciplined: Follow through on commitments without needing reminders.
  • Credible in writing: Write clear, direct, and concise paragraphs for executive audiences.
  • Quick learner: Rapidly master Planhat’s deep product in a hands-on environment.
  • Self-directed: Take initiative, work autonomously, and thrive with accountability.
  • Ambitious: Aim for a long-term career in enterprise customer strategy, not just an entry-level position.

Trajectory

  • Within days: Complete product training, review account histories, and participate in internal reviews.
  • First few months: Observe executive customer conversations, renewal planning, and escalations on high-profile accounts to absorb context.
  • Supporting the Director: Help run the Americas Enterprise team’s operating rhythm, contribute to frameworks, and tackle deprioritized projects.
  • Supporting a Deployment Strategist: Prepare renewal materials, update account plans, and compile high-quality EBR/QBR content.
  • Longer term: Earn progressively more account-facing responsibility, then transition to an Enterprise Deployment Strategist role with your own portfolio. Progression is performance-based, not tenure-driven.

Definition of Success

  • Planhat-certified and independently productive in the platform by day 90.
  • Measurably improve the Americas Enterprise operating rhythm, with your contributions clearly attributable.
  • Gain the trust of Deployment Strategists to work in live customer environments without oversight.
  • Consistently deliver complete, review-ready renewal preparation 90 days ahead of deadlines, without requiring rework from the owning DS.
  • Be requested by name by Deployment Strategists for their most challenging accounts.
