About the Role

The Enterprise Clinical Data Analyst specializes in internal reporting, process improvement, and internal database management for the Enterprise CDI Division. This role involves compiling, analyzing, and leveraging data to enhance operational efficiency and support informed decision-making within the organization. The position requires a strong understanding of healthcare processes, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Compile and manage data: Gather and organize comprehensive clinical and staff data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
  • Reporting and data analysis: Develop and maintain reports using advanced data analysis techniques and statistical methods to interpret datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and correlations.
  • Data visualization: Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to convert datasets into actionable insights. Communicate findings, such as healthcare performance metrics, staff data, and clinical insights, to senior leadership and CDI managers.
  • Database management: Utilize advanced Excel formulas, VBA, and other programming languages to design, implement, and manage internal databases for tracking productivity metrics, staff performance, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with teams and participate in multiple committees while working remotely.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management with Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential.
  • Minimum of three years of related healthcare experience, with at least one year of technical experience working within electronic health records.
  • Expert-level analytical skills and strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Qualifications

  • Prior experience at a large academic medical center preferred.
  • EPIC experience strongly preferred.
