Responsibilities
- Responsible for the organization and analysis of data in support of process improvement initiatives for various clinical areas and programs.
- Abstract and enter data into the required databases.
- Develop and generate outcomes reports and disseminate them to applicable parties.
- Act as an educational resource for other members of the clinical data registry.
- Responsible for data collection and validation for various reports/projects on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate from a nursing program
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in a health-related field with a focus on quality
- In lieu of degree: five (5) years of clinical data abstraction experience, in addition to the minimum experience requirement
Work Experience:
- 3 years previous experience in healthcare, information management, clinical data abstraction, data analysis, or quality role
- In lieu of degree: eight (8) years of previous experience in healthcare, information management, clinical data abstraction, data analysis, or quality role
Licenses and Certifications:
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
- If RN, current R.N. licensure in the state of Georgia
