About the Role
Agile Defense is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Asset Manager to provide strategic and operational oversight of all USG customer organizational assets, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity assets. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic and operational management of all USG customer organizational assets, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity assets.
- Apply expert-level knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM) principles, best practices, and methodologies (e.g., ITIL, ISO 19770) to manage hardware, software, and cloud asset lifecycles.
- Utilize asset discovery tools and techniques for various environments including network, endpoint, and cloud.
- Apply strong understanding of software licensing models, compliance, and optimization strategies.
- Integrate asset data into security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- Lead and manage asset management programs within a large, complex enterprise environment.
- Evaluate, implement, and manage asset management tools and CMDB solutions (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, Ivanti, BMC).
- Apply automation concepts and scripting for asset data collection and reconciliation.
- Develop and track KPIs and metrics for asset management effectiveness using data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
Required Certifications: One or more of the following:
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
- ITIL Foundation or higher (e.g., ITIL v4 Managing Professional)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience
- 5-7 years of progressive professional experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) roles.
- At least 3-5 years of that experience in a lead or managerial capacity overseeing asset management programs within a large, complex enterprise environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for hybrid environments whose assets include mobile devices, multi-cloud environments, on-premise, data centers, or IoT environments.
