Enterprise Architect with Security Clearance

About the role

The IT Systems Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure IT systems for government clients. This position requires a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure IT systems
• Maintaining and optimizing existing IT infrastructure
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system integration and compliance
• Conducting security assessments and implementing necessary controls
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in IT architecture and design
• Active Top Secret clearance
• Experience with cloud computing platforms and cybersecurity best practices

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in ITIL, COBIT, or other IT governance frameworks

Skills

• Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or similar IT governance frameworks
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Microsoft Project)

$163,368 per year

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
