Key Responsibilities
- Invent and document all applications, platforms, and systems across the enterprise.
- Capture system ownership, purpose, dependencies, integrations, and lifecycle status.
- Maintain system information in an EA repository.
- Work with business units where needed to understand system usage, business processes, and functional requirements.
- Analyze system overlaps, redundancies, and opportunities for consolidation.
- Create diagrams, process flows, and system architecture views.
- Support EA Governance.
- Assist the Enterprise Architecture team in preparing materials for Technical Review Boards and governance committees.
- Document architecture standards and ensure system documentation is kept current.
- Partner with business analysts, IT operations, application owners, and data teams to ensure completeness of system information.
- Translate business needs into technical requirements for architecture assessments.
- Identify gaps in system documentation and propose improvements.
- Contribute to the development of system lifecycle management processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 10+ years in IT systems analysis, business analysis, or IT support roles.
- Experience documenting applications, systems, and integrations.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman, or similar) is a plus.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in creating system documentation, diagrams, and workflows; familiarity with EA or IT portfolio management tools and diagramming tools; excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
