Enterprise Architect
Position Summary
Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Enterprise Architect for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) Contract at Peterson SFB supporting SYD 85 in the S5. As an Enterprise Architect, you will perform work involving the analysis, planning, design, implementation, documentation, assessment, and management of the enterprise structural framework to align IT strategy, plans, and systems with the organization's mission, goals, structure, and processes.
Responsibilities
- Determining the gaps between the current and the target architecture and recommending plans for transitioning to target architecture
- Identifying opportunities to improve enterprise-level systems to support business processes and utilize emerging technologies
- Evaluating the impact of enterprise architecture products and services on IT investments, business operations, stakeholder satisfaction, and other outcomes
- Documenting the enterprise architecture infrastructure, including the business units and key processes, using modeling techniques
- Ensuring technical integration is achieved across the enterprise by participating in planning, validation, and reviews
- Supporting implementation and execution of Agile software execution in concert with Government and Prime contractors
- Supporting and advising on the development of Service Oriented Architectures for software development
- Coordinating and conducting governance and portfolio management activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture
- Providing enterprise architecture guidance, support, and coordination to customers and IT project teams
- Developing reference models of the enterprise and maintaining the information in the IT repository
- Advocating for and educating customers and stakeholders on the use and value of the enterprise architecture
- Coordinating and conducting governance and portfolio management activities associated with ensuring compliance with the enterprise architecture; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices to all components of the enterprise architecture
- Supporting implementation and execution of Agile software execution in concert with Government and Prime contractors
- Supporting and advising on the development of Service Oriented Architectures for software development
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Clearance: Must have an active DoD Secret clearance, be eligible for TS/SCI and be able to maintain it
- Education: High School Diploma
- Years of Experience: 7 years of directly related experience; OR, BA/BS degree with 3 years of directly related experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree
Additional Information
- Location: Onsite at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO
- Hybrid: Telework capabilities for local candidates (percentage of telework allowed will vary based on the customer's discretion)
- Travel: Travel may be required to CONUS and OCONUS locations (approx. 10%)
