Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support and optimize data integrations between enterprise applications to improve performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with departments across the University to analyze workflows, identify process improvements, and implement automation solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and application integrations to ensure they align with institutional goals and business requirements.
  • Serve as the primary technical and functional support for:
    • Slate – Admissions (Online and International)
    • Sunapsis – Office of International Services
    • JICS – Campus Portal
  • Provide backup support for system-related tasks in the Student Information System (Jenzabar) for departments such as the Business Office, Financial Aid, and the Registrar’s Office.
  • Create and support Power Automate workflows and other Microsoft Power Platform solutions to streamline business processes and improve data accuracy, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through timely and clear written and verbal communication.
  • Document system processes, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including experience with stored procedures and database programming.
    • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar platforms.
    • Familiarity with ETL tools, particularly Microsoft SSIS or comparable solutions.
    • An ability to independently manage multiple tasks, projects, and support tickets in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
    • A high level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Experience in a higher education IT environment is strongly preferred.

The salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
