About the role
Join a new, ambitious AI business within a successful, publicly traded software company. This is a startup-like environment with the resources and customer base of an established enterprise leader. We are looking for a sales professional to help shape how enterprises adopt AI-powered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Growth & Revenue Generation
- Own a portfolio of enterprise prospects and customers
- Manage complex sales cycles from engagement to close
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders (CIOs, Heads of AI, etc.)
- Achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management
- AI Solution Selling
- Engage organizations evaluating enterprise AI initiatives
- Conduct consultative discovery conversations
- Deliver compelling demonstrations of AI-powered experiences
- Position advanced capabilities aligned with digital transformation
- Help customers navigate AI adoption considerations
- Product-Led & Demand-Driven Sales
- Respond to inbound interest from marketing campaigns and trials
- Monitor user engagement signals and engage high-intent prospects
- Accelerate evaluation processes by removing barriers
- Partner with Solutions Engineers and Customer Success teams
- Customer Expansion & Strategic Account Development
- Identify growth opportunities within existing customers
- Lead conversations around additional use cases and expanded deployments
- Collaborate with Customer Success to maximize value realization
- Market Leadership & Business Building
- Gather competitive intelligence and market insights
- Provide feedback to Product Management
- Partner with Marketing on messaging and go-to-market strategies
- Help define repeatable sales motions and best practices
Your Background
- 5+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience (preferred: AI, Data & Analytics, Enterprise Software, Cloud, or Platform)
- Success selling into mid-market and enterprise organizations
- Experience engaging executive audiences
- Consultative selling approach
- Experience in direct sales and partner-led motions
- Strong business acumen and strategic account planning
- Analytical mindset for interpreting product usage and buying signals
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Builder mentality and enthusiasm for defining new go-to-market motions
Success Metrics
- Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) from new customers and expansions
- Pipeline generation, coverage ratios, and forecast accuracy
- Average deal size and sales cycle effectiveness
- Conversion rates across inbound, trial, and expansion opportunities
- Enterprise customer adoption and expansion
- Development of repeatable best practices
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $93,000 - $108,150
- Commission: Up to $103k at goal (uncapped)
