About the Role
We are seeking an Account Manager, Enterprise to drive hyper-growth within a selected portfolio of our most important and strategic customer accounts.
Responsibilities
- Achieve annual and quarterly revenue targets
- Identify up-sell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
- Ensure a continuous pipeline of qualified opportunities through prospecting methods such as research, networking, cross-selling, cold calling, exhibitions, and partnerships
- Provide timely and accurate pipeline forecasts and reporting
- Organize meetings with key stakeholders to pitch Sales Enablement and the Showpad platform
- Help steer the creation of high-quality sales collateral for customer-specific Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
- Steer and manage a lead generation plan executed and nurtured by your dedicated Business Development Representative (BDR)
- Develop an account plan and strategic "chessboard" for each key account
- Work with clients to promote Showpad’s product capabilities through joint events, marketing strategies, and community calls
- Negotiate contracts and SLAs that align with company objectives
- Effectively utilize organizational resources to support the sales process
- Indirectly lead an account support team of technical and customer success resources
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a complete understanding of client needs
- Support the establishment of strong, lasting client relationships
- Identify and report on market trends, competitor activity, customer demand, and buying process developments
Key Performance Indicators
- Revenue forecasted and achieved on a quarterly and annual basis
- Value and quality of leads and opportunities
- Client satisfaction (feedback, contract renewal, etc.)
- Contribution to overall effectiveness of sales, marketing, and service delivery (idea generation, participation, reporting, and continuous improvement)
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience selling software solutions
- Proven track record (3+ years) of reaching and exceeding sales targets
- Degree-level education with strong verbal and numerical skills
- Ability to present effectively
- Experience selling to C-level executives
- Proven abilities in negotiation and closing deals
- Experience leading and winning RFPs
- Ability to demonstrate ownership, set goals, and prioritize effectively
- Proven experience in account start-up and transition into account and operational management
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (presales, customer success, product managers, operational support, etc.)
- Proven ability to support organizational and team goals in a cooperative, international setting
Location Availability
- Austin: Twice a month in-office
- Boston/Chicago: Hybrid working model
- Remote: Available across the U.S.
