Enterprise Account Executive - Financial Services
The Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you are responsible for selling to Financial Services accounts, guiding deals, and promoting Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform.
Responsibilities
- Meet with key stakeholders including CIOs, IT executives, LOB executives, Program Managers, and others
- Close both new and existing accounts
- Identify and close quick wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
- Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Track customer details in Salesforce, including use cases, purchase times, next steps, and forecasts
- Sell using a solution-based approach and create value for customers
- Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark
- Achieve 100% customer satisfaction
- Prioritize opportunities and allocate appropriate resources
- Create a plan for success internally and externally with accounts
Requirements
- Field sales experience in big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
- Customer relationships with CIOs, program managers, and essential decision makers
- Ability to articulate intricate cloud technologies
- 6+ years of experience exceeding sales quotas
- Expertise with financial services institutions preferred
- Success in closing new accounts while maintaining existing accounts
- Understanding of Spark and big data preferred
- Passion for cloud technologies
- Bachelor's Degree

Pay
The pay range for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Databricks anticipates utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
